Flamingo Files

I.

Club Flamingo is a sharp, emotionally raw portrait of a relationship unraveling in real time. Set against the backdrop of East Coast ambition and post-grad confusion, the novel follows Dan, a Holden Caulfield type with a Tony Soprano edge, as he tries to balance love, success, and his own self-destructive instincts.

As his career takes off and his relationship with Cherie teeters on the edge, Dan embarks on a ski trip to Vermont with Cherie that sends the two of them spiraling into their own separate darkness. Told through biting dialogue, nostalgic flashbacks, and moments of uneasy tenderness, Club Flamingo  is the portrait of a quarter-life crisis, explaining how things can fall apart even when everything seems to be going right.
